Florida got more snow than we did in the month of January. Crazy. I guess the only thing that help with the lack of snow was how insanely busy we were this month. Both girls had basketball Monday - Thursday. Abby also had soccer practice Mondays and Fridays. Saturdays we were back and forth from the resort for her all day ski group. We got out to ski in the mornings, but it definitely wasn't snow to brag about. When her futsal schedule worked out, she would then have a 60-minute futsal game after skiing all day. Sundays were our only day to do, well, not much.
January 1st: Yes, we skied in the rain on New Year's Day.
January 3rd: Today was Abby's first day of her ski group. She really does enjoy skiing. She just doesn't like the hike to get up to her ski group.
January 16th: one of Emma's basketball games
January 17th: When you go to Costco with the entire family, you get way more than what was on the list.
Abby's futsal game--She even played goalie for a half.
January 21st: one of Abby's basketball games
January 24th: This year was the last year for the Sundance Film Festival in Park City. We are super bummed about it. (Next year, it moves to Boulder, CO.) After a morning of skiing, we took the bus to Main Street for lunch. We usually ski down to Main Street but, with the lack of snow, those runs weren't open yet. I can't even explain the amount of people walking up and down Main Street. The first weekend is always the craziest because that is when the celebrities are in town to watch their movie premieres. Many buildings on Main Street transform into clubs, celebrity hotspots, and popular gathering places.
January 31st: Sundance film #3 - Josephine. We were the 3rd people in line!
It fills up quickly and it's always fun to strike up conversations with the people around you.
