Well, here we are--at the end of 2024. If 2025 is as fun-filled and busy as 2024, it's going to be another incredible year!
December 1st: Today was our first family ski day! There wasn't much open, but it was still fun to get back out there.
December 3rd: It's dark. It's cold. Who wouldn't want to have soccer practice outside at 6:00 p.m. in December?!
December 4th: Emma and Ella after another home game. Ella is also on the bike team.
December 5th: Abby had her holiday choir concert at Ecker Hill Middle School.
December 7th: Abby and her soccer team had a holiday party, full of cookie decorating and karaoke.
December 13th: Emma has another home game and we this is who Emma had to guard.
After the game, Abigail had a little get-together with some of her friends to do a Secret Santa gift exchange so we took Emma out to her favorite sushi restaurant--Oishi.
December 14th: We went down to Tom and Terry's to decorate Christmas cookies.
That evening, it was time for the Morton's annual fondue party.
December 15th: Andy made his annual batch of Nanny's caramels.
December 18th: Abigail was quite the social butterfly this month. Tonight we had a soccer team holiday party, including another Secret Santa gift exchange for the girls.
December 21st: It was a beautiful day to do some cross country skiing.
That afternoon, we went to a Utes Women's basketball game with my sister (who was in town for Christmas).
December 24th: Merry Christmas Eve from this group of crazies on the mountain!
The theme for this year's Christmas Eve dinner at the Whitney's was Murder Mystery. It was hilarious! Emma ended up being the killer! Abby played a pre-teen reporter--the perfect role for her.
What better way to end another amazing Christmas than a walk on the moose trail.
And then make-your-own pizzas for dinner.
December 26th: Let the painting preparations begin! Abigail and Emma have both decided they want to paint their rooms. We started with Abigail's room.
December 27th: The girls and I went out cross country skiing.
December 29th: Ta-da! Now we just need to put everything back into her room.
