Family Hike

We did about a 2-hour hike one day. Emma is definitely an outdoors girl!

Andy must have had something in his tooth.

Wisconsin Trip

We had a fabulous time in Wisconsin! Emma did great on the airplane. She slept all the way there and about half the time on the way home. We've learned it can be a bit difficult to keep a 4-month old occupied in such a small space. We also learned that changing a diaper can be a bit tricky.

So many adventures...

with Grandma Sherry

We met a couple of my college roomies (and their families) at the Mall of America one day.

Grandma Sherry lives next to a llama farm so we visited the llamas every day.

It was so hot and humid that Emma spent a majority of the time pretty much naked.

We had to get a picture next to some corn.

We just had to go to the cheese factory. While we were there, Emma had to show off her "cheesehead" spirit.

BIG Day

It was a big day at the Tullis home yesterday. Emma had carrots for the first time! After some initial shock, she really liked them. Then, all of those carrots must have given her some extra strength because she rolled over by herself for the first time! Luckily, Andy and I both got to see it. She rolled from her tummy to her back. She kept trying to roll back to her tummy but we're just not there...yet.

4 Months Old

It's hard to believe Emma is already 1/3 of the way through her 1st year of life. I didn't know it was possible but she gets cuter each day. She is such a little chatterbox in the mornings--nonstop "talking." Her latest sound reminds us of a roaring sound. We've taken some video I'll have to upload one of these days. She is just so much fun!

Now that she's moving so much more, it's getting harder to take these monthly photos. Enjoy!

4th of July Festivities

Seeing that we live in Utah, every city/town, with the exception of Park City (and we think Moab) celebrated the 4th of July on the 3rd of July (since the 4th was on a Sunday). It actually worked out pretty well because we got to see the parade in Brighton (at the cabin) on the 3rd and the parade in Park City on the 4th.

This photo must have been taken before Emma got pelted in the head with a piece of candy. Poor thing.

Emma's First Swim

We took Emma for her first swim. She loves taking baths and kicking in the water so we thought she would love the pool. She wasn't sure what to think at first but, after a bit, I think she liked it.
