Memorial Day Weekend Camping

This year, we spent our Memorial Day weekend in an area called Moonshine Wash.  No crowds. Awesome weather.  Beautiful hikes.  Fun company.  It doesn't get much better than that!

May 25th: Moonshine Wash--This crew has been camping together since they were babies.

There was some scrambling involved in one of the hikes.

May 26th: Colonade Arch--Happy Birthday, Andy!

This particular arch was like 5 arches in one.  Spectacular.

more time in the river

What a fun trip!  One of the best parts---we had 2 consecutive days of sunshine!!

It's Been Way Too Long!

I could tell you the 29 reasons why I haven't updated the blog lately, but why waste time?  Let's get right to our many adventures that closed out April and opened up May.

Easter 2019

taking our 1st bike ride of the season

We haven't had the warmest spring.  It's been snowy, rainy, and chilly so when the sun is shining we are outside.

On Friday, May 3rd, our school had a Multicultural Festival.  Each class performed a dance.  The costumes were amazing!

Moose on the Loose is back!  The 1st race of the year was held on May 4th.

I can't believe this little girl is 6 years old!

Swimming lessons have started again!  This little fish was excited to get back at it!

May 18th:  We woke up to 4 inches of snow in our yard but that did not stop the energy and excitement for the 10th anniversary of Running with Ed.  This year, our school wanted to say "thank you" to the Park City Education Foundation for all they do for the students and teachers in our district.  Each of our teams dressed up as a program funded by the PCEF.  We were Art.

There goes Andy, up the 700+ steps at the Utah Olympic Park.

What a fun event!  Over $250,000 was raised!!!  Over 250 teachers ran, fundraised, volunteered...or all 3!
