Emma's 4th Birthday!!

This past Tuesday, March 11th, was our little girl's 4th birthday.  I remember, like it was yesterday, being in the hospital, anxiously awaiting her arrival.  We celebrated her birthday, as a family, on Tuesday by eating pink pancakes for dinner.  Today, we had her birthday party at Monkey Mountain.  Way fun!

These are the treats I made for Emma's class at preschool--Rice Krispies caterpillars.

Each "monkey" got a balloon and goodie bag.

Then it was back to "monkeying around" for the last 30 minutes.

A Spring-Like Hike

Yesterday was an absolutely gorgeous spring-like day.  Ben came up and we all went out on a hike up Daly Canyon.

This is how Emma rolls...Yep, it was warm enough (in the sun) for no jacket.

Daly Canyon is home to many old mining buildings.

10 Months Old!

Abigail is full of all sorts of noises and sounds these days.  Our favorite is the Donald Duck-like sound she makes when she is excited.  She is not crawling yet but wants to move.  She usually ends us just turning in circles on her belly.
