Finding the Perfect Pumpkin

Yesterday, we went to a pumpkin patch to find the perfect pumpkins. Not only was it Emma's first time to a pumpkin patch, but it was Andy's, too. I think Andy now knows why I refuse to buy my pumpkin from a box at the grocery store.

Just Another Fall Day in Park City

We are taking advantage of every chance we have to get out and enjoy the beautiful weather before the snow really starts to hang around. We had about 4 inches in our yard last weekend but yesterday is was sunny and 70 degrees again. I'll take a few more week of fall before winter sets in for good.

Ready to go...

Really ready to go...

If you look really closely you'll see a house with a red roof in the middle of the picture. Our house is to the left.

Cheese Making 101

I attended a cheese making class one night. It was great fun! We made feta, mozzarella, ricotta, and chevre. Mmmmm....

Here are my ricotta (back left), mozzarella (roll), and feta (front) cheeses:

Stampin' Fun

E is for...

...elephant and eagle. Here are just a couple of pieces of Emma's artwork from school.

The Birds Must Eat, Too

Emma made a bird feeder at daycare. We hung it outside today. I don't think the birds have seen anything quite like it.

Packer Power!

Really, Ben?

Uncle Ben thought it would be fun to get Emma an official NFL Vikings jersey while he was back in Minnesota. Now, Emma is a definite Packers and Chargers fan, but the Vikings? I must admit...it does look pretty cute on her and, yes, Ben, we will wear it for the games (except, of course, when they play the Packers).

Fun in the Kitchen

Emma has a new drawer in the kitchen--the towel drawer. Tonight she took the towels and made a bed for her "baby." Then she told us, "shhhh."

I had to share this picture. This is what Emma lets her teachers do with her hair. I can barely get a ponytail in her hair.

Clean Up!

Emma loves to wipe up the floor. I think she purposely spills her water on the floor just so she can get the towel and wipe it up. :)

Apple Picking!

It's time to get baking because we have a LOT of apples!

Emma was such a good helper.

Playdate!

Emma's friend, Addison, came over to play last week. The girls had so much fun together.

We went for a walk.

They played outside.
They played inside.
The tent was a big hit!
They giggled and rolled around on the floor.

Too Cute!

Emma loves her new backpack and shoes!

Pig Tails...Finally!

Okay, so they only lasted about 30 minutes, but we finally got to do something with Emma's hair. (Notice I said "we." Yep...Andy helped, too.)

Emma's Schoolwork

I had to giggle when we picked up Emma from school yesterday. They had a couple of pieces of schoolwork that Emma completed. How cute!

First Day of School

Emma is now in the Toddler class at school! It was a little difficult to get her up at 6:30 a.m. but she still managed to have a smile on her face in the morning.

As we were getting ready to leave she was ready to go "nigh nigh" again.

A Family Day Out

We took full advantage of our last day to spend with Emma before going back to work. We took her to the Discovery Gateway children's museum, out to lunch at Rumbi Island Grill, to Uncle Ben's house for a nice visit and, finally, a hike with Cooper. Ahhhh...

We were busy!

We put ping pong balls through tubes.

We drove farm tractors.

Of course we had to play at the water station.

Emma drove the bumble bee car.

We sat in a real helicopter.

We played music on a gigantic piano.

We played in the area with shooting water (outside the museum, of course). Emma got caught off guard a couple of times!
