A Month's Worth of Fun!

We've had a busy month, as usual.  Andy and I have just had to come to the realization that we are on the go from the time we get up until about 7:30 at night (or 8:30 on the nights Andy has class).  These girls keep us on our toes, that is for sure.  We wouldn't have it any other way.

This is pretty typical in our house.

Emma started back up at ice skating lessons a couple of weeks ago.  Before that, though, the kids practiced (with wax paper on their feet) in the high school hallways.

It was just a striped kind of day.

We made some treats for the teachers at the girls' school.

It's so refreshing to get home from school and take a nice walk around the neighborhood, especially with it staying lighter longer.

We spend a lot of time on the decks.

Can she get any cuter?

My sister got the girls these adorable shirts from Greece.

Emma takes great pride in walking Sarah.

 Ready to go!

 Abigail LOVES books!

My dad and aunt came to visit over Emma's birthday.  Emma offered my aunt her bed and she slept in her tent and sleeping bag.  She loved it!

They got a chance to see Emma ski one day.

Abby was perfectly content eating (clean) snow.

This girl had 4 birthday celebrations!

Abby has been wanting to use the potty lately.  It's a start and I'll take it!

When Grandpa is in town, we have to make a trip down the hill to No Worries Cafe for breakfast.

It's just a typical day in our house...

Emma is such a good helper at their school.

Did you know that there is a new Dr. Seuss book coming out this summer?!  His wife was cleaning out a closet (after he had passed away) and came across this book.

Such a perfect shirt for St. Patrick's Day.

Andy and I have been doing power hikes/runs after school before we go pick up the girls.

I just can't believe how fast she is growing up!

This is what happens when she gets a hold of my phone.

Our family just grew by 1!!  Whitney (Andy's sister) and Jason welcomed their first child early this morning--Kennedy Jo Cardosi.  Emma made a sign for them.

Happy 5th Birthday, Emma!!

I can't believe it!  5 years old.  In less than a month, we register Emma for kindergarten.  Kindergarten!  We are so excited to have her at our school with us.  She loves school and we can't wait to see where her curiosity and love of learning take her.

For her 5th birthday, she invited 2 of her best friends from school for an evening of painting, dinner, and ice cream.

I have to say...this was the quietest birthday party I've ever been to.  I even had the chance to paint a little something, too.
