Bryce Canyon National Park

We took my mom and Pete down to Bryce Canyon National Park so they could witness the beauty of another part of Utah.

Emma insisted on carrying her own backpack.  

She loves the water hose.

Due to extremely dry conditions and the many wildfires in Utah, campfires were a no-no.  We had to be creative with our s'mores.

It was bright...

We took them on an amazing 3-mile hike.  

They did it!

We had a fun time!!!

Summer Update #2

My mom and her husband, Pete, recently came to visit us.  The weather was quite warm but that didn't stop us from staying busy.

We took them to ride go-karts at the Miller Motorsports Park.

We went to the Hogle Zoo.

There is a new exhibit at the zoo--Rocky Shores.  

We saw Rizzo the polar bear having fun in the water.

Emma ate her first ice cream cone!

Pinterest Party

Some teachers at school and I decided to have a Pinterest party.  The first one was held at our house.  I chose 2 crafts from Pinterest.  People decided which craft they wanted to make.  I made sure I had all the supplies and everyone else brought the food and drinks.  It was a huge success so we will now be having monthly Pinterest parties!!  So fun!

The food ideas came from Pinterest, of course.

This is the result of burning your finger on a hot glue gun.  To this day, that stick is still on our wall.
