Desert Time!

Last weekend, we went back down to the desert and did some camping with Uncle Ben.  We stayed at a couple of different places--The Wedge and Buckhorn Wash.  I have to say, again, that Emma LOVES camping!  Enjoy the photos!

The Wedge

Emma loves her Uncle Ben.

Who says camping food has to be blah?

Wow!

That is definitely not a Cooper print.

There are pictographs all over Buckhorn Wash...very cool!  You just have to wonder what story they were trying to tell...

Hodgepodge

I just wanted to include some photos from the past few weeks...just a hodgepodge of things...

We never quite know what Emma will come out wearing.

My cousin, Heith--a pilot, had a long layover in Salt Lake so he spent some time with us.

Avila and Emma in Avila's new wagon she got for her 1st birthday.  What a fun party!

The kids made bird feeders.  Larry's mom made these adorable aprons for the kids.

They could do some painting.

Tough girl!

Emma was obsessed with trying on a lady's shoes.

Mmmmm...cake!

Emma loves to garden.  Here she is helping to transplant her tomatoes and peppers.

Every May, we do a running relay race called Running with Ed (Education).  You dress up in costumes so this year our team is Where's Waldo?

Camping in Moab!

We ventured out on our first camping trip of the season. Our friends, the Ostroski family, went with us down to the desert of Moab, Utah. Unfortunately, we didn't pick the warmest of days, but at least the rain avoided us while we were there. The wind, on the other hand, was our nemesis. It is the windy season down there, but that didn't stop us from enjoying time with great friends and beautiful country.

Life in the Tullis Household

Hello Family and Friends~ Just a few pics to show what we have been up to lately...nothing too incredibly exciting this round. We are on Spring Break right now so I have a few more pics to add later, too.

Uncle Ben gave Emma some paint (yes, washable) for her birthday, so she was trying it out for the first time.

Emma and Cooper have this love/hate relationship.
Andy and I got out for a fun day of skiing at Snowbird. Thanks, Nana Kim!
Today, we are off for a few days of camping down in the desert. The weather doesn't look too wonderful (nothing like the 80's they were having earlier in the week), but it's snowing at our house right now so it's got to be better than that. Pics to come...
